My employer has been axing so many high level engineers it’s not even funny. I think that’s terrible for engineer morale. Why would you want to strive to improve and get promoted if it just makes you “too expensive to keep on payroll”?

Oh yeah I know that. I meant as a progression sort of thing. There’s little ramp up to new mechanics most of the time. Sometimes there’s tutorials for new mechanics on the boss levels!
But like I said, I still love the game. It’s just something I noticed.
Rhythm Doctor is a good rhythm game. My only real complaint is that it’s short. I would have liked more levels that gradually increased the complexity of newly introduced mechanics. You get a short tutorial and then it’s straight into the frying pan! And some mechanics are only in a single level!
Other than that though… Loved it. Great game. I get the songs stuck in my head a lot!
I’m here to laud Kung Fu Hustle as a masterpiece. The knife throwing scene… Peak physical comedy.
City of God has the best child acting of any movie I’ve ever seen. It is so good I sorta suspect they weren’t even acting in some scenes. I have to imagine they straight up pulled in random kids and told them they were going to gun them down in the street and just filmed it.
If I don’t have documentation or defined features, then I can’t do bugs!
