I’m really interested in the reaction now that Nintendo has popped the seal, because I think GTA6 even if it launches a buggy mess, ive seen people say they would pay $100 for it.

Something interesting is that Steam users, (myself included) will ignore a game not on sale, I couldn’t tell you why. The only thing I can think of is that we are so used to things being “on sale” we forget that there was a reason it was priced at that amount in the first place.
$60
$70looks better than $60Factorio is an interesting example, its never on sale. It’s just the price. In fact it keeps going up in price.
I’m confused. Shouldn’t me downloading the native Linux factorio and native Linux Steam be enough? Why would it default to something else?

162·9 months agoBig facts. Even the FOSS software, I buy the premium or donate a bit to it. It only feels right. I couldn’t imagine making something millions of people count on and not throw them SOMETHING. Especially when its such a good experience.
I tried Linux Mint, and enjoyed my experience and even setup everything and then when I booted up Factorio Steam didn’t use my 3080 somehow. Pop OS worked but I didn’t like the experience. I’ll have to give Linux Mint a shot again.

It’s not random. It’s a direct comparison, but people like to pretend it’s not.
I would argue I should be able to buy any game without Xbox marketplace on it.
That’s where epic is going next.
