The boss is a bologna elemental meat golem.
If anyone is down for a fascinating video essay about this by a textile historian: Standardized Sizes Ruined our Clothing Quality
Have you ever wondered how we let clothing quality get so bad? It wasn’t just desperation for cheaper options- the 18th century consumer would never have been willing to pay so much for such poor quality cloth. And yet, they stayed clothed. Even their cheaper options lasting years of hard wear. But they knew what quality looked like and for the most part, we don’t.
When did we forget how to shop for good clothing rather than just trendy? What makes clothing “high quality” is so complex and nearly impossible to track with online shopping. Even in person, it’s not a simple answer. But it used to be that more money meant more quality, plain and simple. Where did we mess up this system? Turns out, standardized sizing allowed (and even encouraged) far more than just issues with poor fit and body image.

I wish I knew. Scouring a metal bottle by using a bottle brush with a little water and rock salt or baking soda can help de-scum the films that lead to mold.
Historically, these are the consensus fave in reusable bottles:

I do. I caught it in March 2020, yo-yoed in health for a while, and had some surgeries and a treatable cancer which my doctors suspect were related to Long COVID. I’m pretty well marinated in the info, and am happy to share whatever you want to know.
This page from Yale is a great general orientation, though there’s a lot more LC sufferers would want you to know. This “What to Do When I Have Covid” guide from Clean Air Club will be useful.
The best place I know of on Lemmy for a discussion is !chronicillness@lemmy.world. Mastodon has an active and expansive community of people affected by Long COVID.
Condolences on your illness! I hope you’ll have better luck.

There will likely be a lot of stupid conflicts over the Arctic in the oncoming decades, sad to say.

It’s almost a moot point with how many taxable components going into those jet chunks could be impacted by the tariff before the US government procures the finished good. The resulting cost overrun is part of the grift.

What in the parabolic FUCK are they talking about?! Beyond being a nauseating atrocity, the IDF statement is c/noncredibledefense levels of war-as-satire. There is no stockade big enough. The common 120mm mortar has a lethal radius of 30m from the point of impact, and has been given a 10% probability of ‘incapacitation’ at 100m. A common M795 155m high explosive howitzer shell will generally have a ‘kill radius’ of 50m, with fragmentation spreading significantly further.

If there is an argument, I’d hope it’s more about not ending up with unsafe or disappointing chemistry. Suspending CO2 in a liquid doesn’t need anything so proprietary, and especially not from a company that’s an active participant in settler-colonial occupation of Palestine like Sodastream.

Ideally, give folks a chance to mix each pour to taste if you’re sharing this. Follow a wine spritzer recipe for guidelines.
If you want to make it bubbly without diluting, force-carbonating it with CO2 like a homemade soda is fun. Transfer the wine to an appropriate pressure resistant vessel before gassing. Some bargain bubbly is made this way.
Cheap sparklers like cava or cremant de Limoux that use the champagne method might make you happier in a lot of cases, of course. Killer picnic pairings if you’re having fried chicken.

how did you turn those anime boys into New York City grandpas, that was amazing

Being a majority artist owned co-op is in the fedi spirit. I know Rebecca Watson is crushing it on Mastodon, are there any other nebula/fedi crossover creators you’d recommend?

I read somewhere that nebula was paying a good bit more per view, and paid per minute watched
CW: discussion of alcohol flavors
Try tamari if you’ve never had it and you can get down with something richer. Think of how Kikkoman’s alcohol-ferment side is like a crisp fizzy Japanese lager. In a tamari, that aspect is like the flavors of a barrel-aged doppelbock that a monk would drink to get through a fast. But without being sweet or heavy!
I’ve seen it in midrange gringo grocery stores, but it’s worth a trip to wherever you can find it.
Oh well, tamari’s another day

This is true, but fascinatingly more complicated. Here is an excellent short explainer video by TLDR News about China’s strategy with US treasury bonds.

such hateful slander about okra ಠ_ಠ
