1·24 hours agoYou probably have enough B12 stored in your body to last for years.
Estimates suggest that a healthy adult’s body holds between 2 and 5 milligrams of vitamin B12, with approximately 50% of this total amount residing within the liver. This substantial reserve is why it can take anywhere from three to five years for a deficiency to manifest after an individual stops consuming B12-rich foods.
Large numbers look impressive, though, and since it’s water-soluble, you’re just going to pee out the excess.

Wait, what?
Corporations don’t actually care about inclusion. The only reason why they do anything is because they think it will make money.
we are canadian
lhosers.
Just look at John Wayne portraying Genghis Khan.
Or Ricardo Montalban playing Khan Noonien Singh!
Presentation is huge, at least for me. The thing that pulled me over to the Linux side was people posting screenshots of their tricked-out desktops with cooling-looking terminals. It made learning the terminal look fun, not intimidating.

They do a ton of sketchy shit. I was skeptical, but this article convinced me.
If you need to use a Chromium browser, there are a shit-ton that aren’t Brave. I use Ungoogled Chromium.

12·9 days agoThe story behind the blink tag is so ridiculous.
At some point in the evening I mentioned that it was sad that Lynx was not going to be able to display many of the HTML extensions that we were proposing, I also pointed out that the only text style that Lynx could exploit given its environment was blinking text. We had a pretty good laugh at the thought of blinking text, and talked about blinking this and that and how absurd the whole thing would be. … Saturday morning rolled around and I headed into the office only to find what else but, blinking text. It was on the screen blinking in all its glory, and in the browser. How could this be, you might ask? It turns out that one of the engineers liked my idea so much that he left the bar sometime past midnight, returned to the office and implemented the blink tag overnight. He was still there in the morning and quite proud of it.

7·11 days agoI don’t understand why the guy is recording.
For “content”.
I don’t get why these random people care.
Because creeps can stalk and harass you online.
What’s the appeal of watching random women at the grocery store?
There’s a video on YouTube of a guy counting to 100,000. That’s it. Simply counting out loud in a droning voice. It has over 33 million views. What’s the appeal of that?
You’re being recorded from his glasses, yes, but you’re also being recorded from like 8 other camera angles with or without him.
Sure, but the store isn’t posting those videos on social media for people to comment on. If they were, they’d probably get sued, and for good reason.

Hard disagree. Reading bullshit is painful, but writing it is torture.
