Sometimes I need the blur (in public, for example) and sometimes it is a nuisance having to open every post to see the image.

And this would be different from the blur NSFW toggle in the lateral menu?
There’s no blur toggle for me. Only the one buried in the settings.
Settings - General - Lateral menu - toggle nsfw checkbox
