Internet service providers and their lobby groups are fighting a US plan to prohibit discrimination in access to broadband services. In particular, ISPs want the Federal Communications Commission to drop the plan’s proposal to require that prices charged to consumers be non-discriminatory.

    Yeah uh, impeding broadband investment? I know areas where cable was laid 30-40 years ago and has been ignored since. What investment?

    Thank god I have a local company that provides fiber now, and they don’t seem to care about invetigations into pricing. Fuck Xfinity (the brand formally known as Comcast), fuck Spectrum, Mediacom, all of them.
