Yeah, that’s how I feel about foldables right now. I just got a Z fold 7, but I’m so paranoid about the inner screen that I’m considering taking it back for a more standard slab phone. I constantly feel like I’m going to scratch it if I let my fingernails get too long.
For me, it wasn’t that, but the ribbon cable inside. A 20 cent part broke, but Samsung won’t allow techs to fix that. Their “fix” is to replace the hinge, inner, and outer screens, a $600 part. Maddening, considering the cable can be fixed.
