    getting all this tech in a headset means there’s a lot of weight on your face, so Apple chose to use an external battery pack connected by a cable.

    From the article. What do you mean no one is talking about this, literally every review dropped in the past day brings these things up.

      Exactly. Basically the most common YouTuber reaction to putting this device on for the first time is “Oh! it’s heavy…” XD

        Aluminum is cool but they really should have considered plastic or something and also scrapped that outer screen. The tradeoffs in both weight, cost, and battery life make no sense at all.
