My necromantic patron assures me that my pact with it will end with my death. It started to tell me something about the necromantic slaves of its next chosen champion, but that wasn’t about me, and my short rest was almost over, so I turned my attention to some fried chicken instead. I’m sure it was nothing important.
Hm, kinda weird that my patron will not let me cast Speak With Dead. Couldn’t be too important, who wants to speak with a rotting corpse anyways!

1d10+Cha Mod 2x at level 5 3x at 11 is a bit of a mouthful
Eldritch blast effectively gets multiple “attacks” as it scales up, which is slightly better than the single larger damage roll fire bolt gets, but it’s really splitting hairs.
Splitting hairs is an apt description.
They meant Eldritch Blast for the warlock.
I can’t confirm this. I’ve never played a Warlock.
