Because making calls and using a computer requires a specific lacale…
What’s bucket budgeting?
Edit: [sigh] all I needed to do was search the term… sorry everyone
I agree. This was a shot to the past, when sites thought that people gave a crap about CSS magic, when, in reality, all we wanted was a usable site and not an art exhibit. This site seriously eroded my interest is buying the product at this time. If they can’t get this simple, basic thing right, what’s wrong with the actual product; what are they hiding behind the CSS art?
Super cool concept. But I will never own another Huawei.
Just visited the Viture website, and it is abysmal. Product looks cool though.
Edit: its endless scrolling reminds me of those websites about some “totally effective protection against RF radiation” that’s nothing more than a concrete block with a blinking LED.
Apple doesn’t have AI in their products. No. No. AI is lame, over hyped, and consistent under delivers, not even going to mention the ecological impact. They have Apple Intelligence, which… look, I know how it sounds, but Apple promises that it’s not AI.
Gotcha. Ok. This article makes a whole lot more sense now. Thank you!!
…Yet both Android and Apple phones use MEMS silicon for their devices, so why were only Apple phones affected? The answer, it seems, is because Apple recently defected from traditional quartz-based clocks in its phones in favor of clocks that are also made of MEMS silicon.
So, they ask the question of why iPhones are the only ones affected if androids also went to MEMS, then answer it by saying that apple went to MEMS. Are they saying that the clocks in Androids still use quartz, but iPhones use MEMS clocks, even though they both use general MEMS silicon?
Edit, autocorrect
It’s a dull knife. The only thing more dangerous than a sharp knife, is a dull one.
I set print screen as the shortcut for single button access.
The license, even if it’s truly just to avoid rust (for whatever dumbass reason they have), is enough to me to hardpass on the entire project.
I had no idea this had a self-hosted platform category. Cool!
This looks great!
No judgement felt lol
Someone else called me out on it, too, and I decided to have fun with it instead of fixing it hahahaha if you can’t laugh at yourself…
Mainly, this is because I was writing official docs, then took a quick Lemmy break, but my brain stayed “official” hahahahaha that’s all. ‘they’ should absolutely be used in this colloquial context.
What someone feels is ethical and what may be legal don’t always match. From a legal point of view in every country I’ve worked at as a contractor, “time laying in bed thinking about problems” isn’t billable time.
As a personal time management solution, I don’t see any issues here. As a billable time report maker, it has the very real potential to get the user into legal turmoil.
Use at your own risk and made damn sure that the laws match your idea of ethical billable hours, is all I’m saying.
Sure, sure. But s/he reading this might appreciate the use of special characters to improve his/her password entropy.
No ether needed. All you need is to do this publically.
