realtime vfx in houdini and embergen?
For 3d rendering? Vr gaming? Its far superior?
You have all the solutions lol
I like seeing the same question pop up at least every few months to get fresh opinions, thats like 2 years old ppl could have scrapped their setup and have new ones now
Ive had no issues, nvidias just better when it comes to actual software support, like for blender, amd works mostly fine for me on cachyos, hip rt crashes blender tho. All of my steam games run fine. I did have to reinstall my os after messing stuff up setting up qemu, attaching my gpu as a device did not go correctly and when I removed qemu through the terminal (black screen) it stayed stuck on my integrated gpu and couldn’t recognize the seperate one anymoere. Only issue ive really had, wont try to set up a windows virtual desktop again.
more work can get done and more work can be show in progress, its like a marginal timesaver, itll knock off 25% of a human maybe if that, not replace a whole one
Ais fine as a tool, trying to replace workers and artists while blatantly ripping stuff off is annoying, it can be a timesaver or just helpful for searching through your own docs/files
Might switch back, use vivaldi for workspaces, I switched because it synced across devices but I never use that feature I just end up retyping everything if I need to open something.
I modified it, the person who contributed the app did it wrong, ngl I assumed itd be harder and more time consuming than the minute it took
In regards to komga, it wouldnt show up in logs becuase it wasnt an error, got a reply on discord, and I needed to add a custom config, took 2 minutes, didn’t know that was the issue since I’d never done it before. Looked in the docker compose and whoever set up the app did it wrong and didn’t mount the media volume like every other apps docker compose did. (you are supposed to for runtipi apps)
I dont want to fill them out every time when testing 50 different apps? Im pretty sure I mention its for trying stuff out in the post, my bad if I didnt, it takes literally 5 minutes to install 10 apps and try them out lol
rizzle foshizzle
I think a lot of these tiktokers dont live around ppl using those words so they see it as tiktok slang
its insanely common for white middleschoolers to claim words like (rizz, gyatt, thot, bop, etc.) and act like they are new things, since its mostly kids filling these comment sections it spreads and loses its meaning lol
I’ve somehow never heard of unraid in my search, its got a ton of community apps damn, lemmy too, only really seen an up to dateish one in yunohost, oh is it more for actual at home server self hosting? I’m more of a vps renter right now.
I like one click for quickly trialling stuff, its legit 15 seconds after clicking install for some of these apps to be ready to play around with, I think longterm id look towards a solution I have more control over, so I can keep stuff up to date (or avoid updates) myself and not rely on others.
just did the action of adding library and looking fir the folder and the log didnt even record anything, if I scan the log gets stuff popping up but i cant see the folder I want to scan in the first place so the log is useless?
Its not an error, the logs wouldnt be related to it, wouldn’t something have to run? I can view the logs im 99% sure there wont be any relevant info, it shows paths just not the runtipi folder which is what is typically the only folder exposed to runtipi apps, instead I can see the rest of my servers directory and the root folder shows as empty
with tarrifs the cheap handhelds are all expensive now
