The sort of ‘military’ style to the guy’s jacket makes me think you are on to something.

I don’t make things up, I just look them up.
I’m just reading the article, as you were also able to do, and it says, “On 8 June, officers were made aware via CCTV of a man, Bray, walking down Queens Road, Nuneaton, with the sword in his hand. Bray approached officers with the blade visible, at which point he was arrested.” Bold added for emphasis. If I were out in public in the UK, and if I happened to have a bladed implement, I’d keep it out of sight. Especially if there were police anywhere nearby. But hey, you can do as you please. Have a nice day!
This “victim surcharge” would be termed court cost or court fee in the US.
Not for simply having, but for brandishing said bladed device as the police approached. That’s the law, in that city. As the officer said, “It is possible to find fidget toys that aren’t six-inch blades. It is possible not to walk down the street holding them out in front of you. With a bit more self-awareness, Bray could have avoided contact with us completely.” Bray brought this on himself, and could have avoided any contact with the police. He chose otherwise.
None of them! All of my secret conspiracies are SECRET!
Anyone got a non-YT link? Or just the recipe? Something? TY in advance!!!
LoL, not an English major. Edit…
Also there’s this survey that shows we actually would prefer stopping climate change instead of fighting war.

As a child, once I learned to read, I started to really learn. And naturally shared all the fun facts with most anyone who would listen. I thought I would write a book of fun facts, but then someone invented the Intarwebs. I even thought I would narrow things down and just write ‘Bandana, 1001 Uses’ , but there was no point. Actually we DID. Tho’ only for a little while. And the results were enormous. The B/Yamgata Influenza lineage appears to have gone extinct. The cool part is we weren’t even trying to do anything with those specific efforts to affect influenza. All of which should encourage us to cooperate more.
Mastodon Social awaits! https://joinmastodon.org/

I’m thinking Toyota Hi-Lux EV.
People are always talking ‘miles per gallon’. I had a nerdy friend who kept the data and tracked ‘dollars per mile’.
https://foodstruct.com/food/cheesecake 5.5g per 100g serving, and it’s a pretty balanced protein. The fat combined with carbs makes it relatively low glycemic index at 50. Also at about 5:1 carbs to protein it’s pretty close to the 4:1 ratio recommended for endurance athletes by Edmund R. Burke, PhD. One of my professors would say, “There are no junk foods only junk diets.”
Nope
