You can say people are attractive without saying others are not. And that is your subjective opinion not a fact, so speak for yourself.

Ah ok, glad I could help. The debugger can be confusing if you have never used it before. If you are a complete beginner to programming, I’d recommend starting with something other than C. Python, Java or Go are a lot more forgiving in most aspects. Especially dealing with strings is not easy in C as it involves a lot of low level details already. But don’t be discouraged, its a fun journey learning C but there are a lot of gotchas.

Not sure what you are trying to learn. fgets doesn’t work correctly with buffers len <=1, as stated in the docs. The reason is that strings are null terminated in C so you need at least 2 chars to read any character.
If you know all that and want to understand why the undefined behavior does what it does, you probably need a debugger and step through it.

I searched a bit and you seem to be correct, lol. Nvidia never implemented GTT (15 years after it was introduced in the kernel). But the feature from the article is still not exclusive to AMD, Intel should work as well.

Are you sure? Nothing in the dev’s blog post alludes to that, aside from being tested on AMD.

Boats are very efficient transportation it seems

Projects promoting programming in “natural language” are intrinsically doomed to fail.
🤫

I guess not rust itself, but people telling them to switch to rust over and over again. They use a lot of assembly magic to get good performance, they aren’t in C land.

Murderous Nature? Dafuq bro

Oh yes we have achieved AGI! But what we really need is Artificial General Super Intelligence! Just another trillion and it will be useful bro!

In the comments they clarify that is mostly targeted at servers and IoT first. In the enterprise world attestation is absolutely needed. And on personal devices? I’d be very happy if I had a secure boot chain for full disk encryption working out of the box. At least for portable devices…

No. What is actually happening is that tech companies try to hype up their mathy maths autocomplete by saying it will totally be a skynet situation soon. Because the tech is soooo good bro! Trust me bro! One more trillion and it’s conscious bro.
And the guy from Mistral is calling it out as the dumb bullshit it is, the dangers are much more mundane but immediate.

Since it’s IBM sponsored/supported they probably didn’t want to tell the reader that you can simulate a quantum computer on classical hardware. So no need to use their service to use “the real” thing.
I think with flatpak it’s fine nowadays. So I have the stable base Debian, but most applications are flatpak and for dev work I use containers or nix anyways.
Debian has proprietary software via opt-in through the non-free repository. However the Nvidia driver is horribly outdated so I had to install them directly. But now it works decently well. But my 1070TI is on borrowed time now no matter the OS 🥲

It works great for technical constructs. E.g. A Button is a UI element. But for anything business logic related, yeah it’ll suck.
In this case its probably the music licensing not intentional stupidity from EA preventing a re-release.
