I mean how often do you install AUR packages? Usually takes like a minute or so to skim through PKGbuild and the pkg comments and look for obvious issues. And most updates are just a sha hash and version change, taking like 5s to check.

The funny thing about this headline is, human brains are neural networks, so the last sentence could also say
“Soon, neural networks could out think neural networks.”

If it’s open source, there’s roughly a 100% chance someone will make it work on Linux.

I guess I’m the 0/10 case then
Ah, so you want memes to not include Argentina anymore, so naturally you make a meme about Argentina instead of one not involving it.

Meh, how often do you really do some serious work where you’re not on your own hardware? Depends on your job I guess, if you’re company tech support and walk around to people’s PCs the whole time, but if you’re a programmer or similar, when are you really not going to do your work on your PC?
It’s not like you can’t work with a default layout afterwards, you’re just going to be a bit slower on one. It really didn’t happen very often for me in years of working.

I simply made my own keyboard layout. Accent grave is just a single press for me, altgr+accent is the “normal” combining one. Also changed äö to () and shift+äö to [].
It’s not that hard, it’s just a markup file I had to copy+modify and put in some folder.
Just don’t connect them to the internet, then it doesn’t matter.

The expression they were using indicated that they were joking.
What I do is work less than 3 hours per day. If on a job, the rest of the time I just act as if I’m working.
You’re using the wrong language. If it fails, it never worked out of the gate. You should say that it seemed like it’s working, but never actually did.

You don’t say? Thank you for this insight!
;)

It’s actually crazy that you call that a hero and many people seem to agree with you. He was already apprehended and no danger to anyone anymore. You especially left out in your quote that the psychologist forced him to get naked and got naked himself before the strangling. The psychologist is not much better than the serial killer imo.

The thing is, are they really leaving money on the table? Higher prices means less customers, yes, but also higher profits per unit. We don’t actually know right now how many people would be willing to pay these new prices: if it costs twice as much but half the customers are still fine buying it, then profit stayed the same. And with no choice, I suspect much more than half are going to pay double.
Of course, the people who wouldn’t do that are a potential market, but they are also a much lower profit margin. Comparably, that’s probably not that much for these people.

The problem is not doing it, the problem is feeding an AI generated text here.

Dude, it’s ok to be wrong sometimes, no one would judge you :) In fact, it’s a sign of strength to be able to admit you’re wrong, and people will like you more for it. It’ll also be good for you personally as you will be more effective in more things :)
It does. I’ve been using it as my secrettool for quite a while instead of kwallet in KDE kwin wayland.

That is not the final outcome though. Read the next few mails, people suspect that this response of his was also just an LLM “defending” itself.
As far as I can see, the account is still suspended with no one knowing what exactly is going on.
Well that’s what you think, he’s actually just been in hiding in a cave in northern Kazakhstan to escape all that public attention. And now he’s on Lemmy because he did actually get a little lonely.
My mind is a funny place.
