Anyway, how well do you think American political awareness compares to political awareness of other countries? I honestly haven’t looked yet.

Passed that one. It was a little harder than the practice test, but I think it’s about a middle-school level difficulty.
Interesting article. I would agree that most Americans are politically unaware per that article, because most Americans aren’t economists or historians. It was definitely an interesting read, but what I really noticed is that the article failed to compare American political unawareness to a global baseline, or at least provide some comparable country’s numbers, like England, France, Russia, China, Australia, Mexico and Canada?
Makes me wonder if I could pass the US citizenship test…
Edit: 95% on a practice test…
Can you explain what you mean by “politically unaware”?
Something overflowed somewhere…
This is the computer equivalent of “I don’t wear a seatbelt because I don’t want to be trapped in the car if there is an accident.”
“I reboot it every night.”

Would make a banger anthem, no lyrics either.

Former 5 time a week gym member here.
Treadmill at the gym has HVAC, no cars that blow red lights and almost kill you. You can have a conversation with someone while you are on treadmill or you can safely put on headphones and rock out. You can run yourself ragged, and all the water and benches you want are just a few feet away instead of being another exausting run back to your house. The gym is usually secured with a key or fob. There are other runners there who have great knowledge about shoes, technique/form, workout routines…etc etc.
Lots of reasons why you would drive to the gym and run, instead of just running to the gym.
Read books, play videogames, go outside and beat each other with sticks…
Stop, you’re scaring me.
In the US, you own the airspace up to the highest point of your property, including structures (and maybe trees). You also technically own your underground property to the center of the earth, but you may not have mineral rights to it.
Important question : What geographical area are you in? Location matters for identifying the species and what you should do with it.
Now for some actual info.
Do not pickup wild birds, even fledglings or babies. Bird flu is running rampant right now, birds can have very nasty parasites on and in them. If you find a “naked” baby bird, it was probably ejected from the nest, this is natural. It is either sibling competition, or the parents downsizing because they can’t care for it. If it is feathered, then it is probably a fledgling that has left the nest normally and is learning to fly. You are not helping it by bringing inside. If the bird is in a dangerous place, like a road, use a stick, or cloth to move it to a safer location.
Based on my area (Midwest US), this looks like a European starling. They are invasive in the US. A wildlife center is not going to take it (except maybe as hawk food).

I think the fairest criticism of libertarianism is “If men were angels, no government would be necessary”.
Like, I’m definitely level-headed and community aware enough to be a good libertarian, it’s all the other conceited assholes that need government to keep them from drinking and driving, shooting off fireworks in a field during a drought, feeding bears…etc etc.
Yeah, the “Boys” are 7 and 9 pounds, and my little lady is 11.
That’s a fair assessment. I can’t be around the bunnies all the time to train them. I’d send picture of my buns, but my partner has asked me to keep them off socials. They are two big red New Zealand mixes, and the third bun is a New Zealand/Flemish mix.
That was my thought too.
