100% they’ll start showing ads.
I personally find it pretty horrendously insulting they put out a “Pro” console that can’t play the fucking game discs unless you pay them for an additional accessory.
I have a similar setup except I use pfSense as my router and pihole for DNS, but I’m sure you can get the same results with your setup. I’m running HAProxy for my reverse proxy and configs for each of my docker containers so any traffic on 443 or 80 gets sent to the container IP on whatever unique port it uses. I then have DNS entries for each URL I want to access the container by, with all of those entries just pointing to HAProxy. Works like a charm.
I have HAProxy running on the pihole itself but there’s no reason you couldn’t just run that in it’s own container. pfSense also let’s you install an HAProxy package to handle it on the router itself. I don’t know if opensense supports packages like that though.
You can even get fancy and do SSL offloading to access everything over HTTPS.
This looks really cool! I’ve never heard of Little Nightmares but now I’ll have to give them a look.
I really hate when companies do that kind of crap. I just imagine a little toddler stomping around going “No! No! Nooo!”
Is there a way to host an LLM in a docker container on my home server but still leverage the GPU on my main PC?
Pretty awful if I’m being honest. I’m miserable at my job but having trouble finding anything better and worrying I’m not good enough. All my friends have had kids and settled down and I uninstalled all the dating apps a year ago because all I ever got was ghosted. I feel like I’m stuck here with no way out.
Considering OP owns the game already they aren’t complaining for their own sake. They saw the price others would pay and felt that was ridiculous.
I think the point OP is making is they’ve easily spent enough time with the game to have credibility on the matter. They easily got more than $45 worth of time out of it, but that doesn’t change the argument that $45 is way too steep a price for the current state of the game.
You should grind everything up to 99 and do like that one person and max them all out one after another at the same time.
Edit: Ah, nevermind, I didn’t realize 99 was the max.
You’re not wrong about how important those keys are and how he definitely should have known better. But I at least have a little sympathy for the guy. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time, even with important stuff. Hopefully they are lucky enough not to lose 40k on one but unfortunately he wasn’t. Whether he should have known better or not, that just plain sucks.
Just looked this up and subscribed to the channel.
Well holy shit. Nintendo’s frankly terrible online for the last several Smash games has always been particularly offensive to me. As I’ve grown older all my friends stopped caring about Smash so online play was the only way I’d get to play with anyone. Even with gigabit internet not once did I get a match I would describe as good. The closest to tolerable was at least half a second of input lag. That’s for the last 2 games. It made me so mad, like why fucking bother putting online play in your game?
That would be awesome. My guess is yes but it would probably take a lot of work. Can you imagine N64 Smash online multiplayer that actually works?
I’ve heard a lot of people reference PopOS and Garuda as of the last few months but I’ve never heard of them. When you say popular distros I immediately think Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Suse, etc. Does your comment include those as well or when you say popular do you mean “popular for gaming”? Also how is the Linux support for external controllers?
To be fair outside of Proxmox and some Debian containers with Docker I haven’t spent much time in the Linux space for the last 7 or 8 years. I’m thinking about finally making the switch.
I’m assuming just to host it and send through an SMTP provider? Even in the self hosting community whenever I see someone ask about running their own email server the answer is usually “don’t”. I think because dealing with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC isn’t usually worth the effort.
Wait I’m only making my way through all the Trek series for the first time. Do we not like Ro Laren? I like Ro Laren. Currently 2/3s through TNG season 5.
I’m so excited for this! Life is Strange is a really important series to me. I didn’t care for LiS2 but the original and True Colors are 2 of my favorite games ever. I still need to play Before the Storm though.
