Yes, spawn. Amazing.
Yes, spawn. Amazing.
Nah, no offense taken, just clarification. You’re good.
You’re missing the point. I already do something like that. I’m very useful to those around me. I just wish people liked me whether I’m useful or not, and made it obvious. I feel like if I stopped being useful, then people would stop liking me.
Someone who occasionally makes me feel special. It’d be nice to feel special all the time, but I think that’s unrealistic. It’d be nice if I could feel special or important on a semi regular basis. Not just useful, like a wrench is useful, but treasured.
The older I get, the more I understand the “lone old man and his dog” stereotype. The dog thinks you’re great and everyone else just sees you like a machine that is disposable when they’re done with you.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s requiem. It’s an older game, GameCube era. I don’t like horror games and this one isn’t true horror. There are some good jump scares and body horror though. I had to stop after a certain scene because of the jump scares. The sanity system is really great.
Kung Fury. It’s a short film, so maybe that’s cheating. Regardless, I love the writing. It’s the perfect blend of absurdity and over the top action. It’s a Swedish made film that’s a satire of 80’s cop and Kung fu movies. Free to watch on YouTube.
Don’t set yourself on fire to keep others warm. If you want to help, ok, but be realistic about it. Also, you can’t help anyone who doesn’t want it. Also-Also, it’s nearly impossible to help someone who has a different reality than you do, which you’ve described him having.
Early access and beta and alpha terms for games. Also, early access has a time limit.
Alpha - we’re adding and removing features.
Beta - we’re 90% polishing 10% adding/removing.
Early access - just fixing bugs. Maximum 3 to 6 months.
You can stay in alpha and beta as long as you want. I don’t want to change game dev actuality. I just want the terms to reflect what’s actually going on.
You’re correct but that’s very consequential and OP asked for inconsequential
I can’t save the world, but I can make my corner a little nicer.
Decision results in bad outcome. Oh well, lesson learned.
doctortran? The doctortran? The real doctor? The dashing special agent with a PHD in kicking your ass? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO0kRE5OTZI)
One time I commented that my favorite game was WoW, down voted -15 for no apparent reason.
I wouldn’t use that as evidence that you were bot-attacked. A lot of people don’t like WoW and are mad at it for disappointing them. *coughSHADOWLANDScough*
At some point, it will slow down, and then stop
All of the current scientific evidence disagrees with this. 1) There is a velocity such that you can go faster than gravity will be able to slow you down: escape velocity. So, it’s possible even without any new, weird physics. 2) The hubble constant shows that the universe isn’t slowing down, but the opposite: it’s accelerating. Physics doesn’t know why (see Dark Energy). It’s physically measurable that things farther away are accelerating even faster scaling with distance.
I have the opposite question: Why are childfree people so triggered by children?
Context: I don’t care if you do or don’t have children, in general. I care how you and yours are behaved. Have kids and they’re well behaved? Fine. Have kids and they’re crazy? Not fine. Don’t have kids and you’re nice? Fine. Don’t have kids and you’re a shit head about them? Not fine.
I kinda feel this way about streaming music. Something has been lost with all the convenience gained. I like streaming. I’ve heard more electronica and techno and chiptunes that I’d never heard before streaming. I like weird stuff and I get a LOT of it for essentially no cost… But I miss collecting things. Collecting albums and such was more expensive and I got fewer but I miss album art and having a collection of said art.
fyi, that URL can be trimmed. the ?si=asdkjlfhasldkjfhaslkdjf is just tracking metrics. https://youtu.be/IZ4HOCld5nY works just fine.
I don’t block hexbear or ml because I like seeing their takes. Even if I disagree with them most of the time, it makes me think about my opinion more critically.
I do block certain communities and anyone who posts PPB.
It’s easier to block while communities here. IIRC, you have to have RES to do that on web.
Because Reddit admins deserved that harm. We’ve handed them all this free data and resource and they decided it was theirs.
