Another vote for the ErgoDox EZ. It’s pricey but very much worth the investment. Makes me hate every other keyboard I use lol
Notes while I’m watching:
The “built-in support for mods” caught my eye. That’s pretty slick, and a headache with MC.
tl;dr - it runs on just about everything, and focuses on giving the player an easy-to-mod “sandbox” to play in.
Gotta brush up on the ol’ powershell

$750 - $1,000 for the prebuilt? $400 for the DIY option?
I know mechs are known for being expensive, but yikes. This looks cool and it seems like a novel idea, but it’s hard to rationalize that purchase when there’s Kenesis or Moonlanders selling at ~$400.
Super Mario 64 - a launch title, iirc? - murdered my control stick. Spinning that around to swing Bowser was a great game design idea, but yeah they didn’t build those controllers to withstand it for long.

It’s either:
I don’t get NixOS
It’s not for everyone. The idea is to have your entire system reproducible with a few configuration files, which you’d then ideally store in a VCS like git.
I haven’t messed with it, but there is something appealing about the ability to reboot to an older snapshot of the system if an update breaks something, or being able to use a config file to restore your system to the exact OS version and exact versions of whatever apps you use.
Probably wondering why their date is taking a picture of the charcuterie board.
The marketing spin calling LLMs “Artificial Intelligence” doesn’t help.
Wait… so it’s just a hardware middle man for Do Not Disturb?
You can leave the key behind
Fun idea until I’m out and about & realize the one app I locked would be useful.
“Fraud” is the correct term here.

The LEGO Skywalker Saga did a better job of telling the story than the movies. One of the few games I 100% completed. Just a fun, chill way to unwind.
They prefer the term “Jersey Classic”
I can’t live without fzf. I hope junegunn is as happy as a human can be.
It’s only been “irrelevant” because of the poor reception to Sims 4. The Sims was the first great “life sim” game, and the 3rd installment added a crazy amount of content. That’s all we wanted. More stuff to decorate with and places for our Sims to explore. Nah, Sims 4 took away the variety and added paywalls and multiplayer and was just generally a poor experience.
For anyone holding out hope for #5, this is on par with Blizzard announcing their smartphone diablo game. EA killed this franchise, and yeah I’m a little sad about it.
