17 days agoI flew through all the Mistborn novels recently, and I started The Stormlight Archive a little while back. I’m on the second book now and loving it. Really looking forward to all the rest!

No, but thanks for the offer.
It’s not “solved.” Not trying to dive into yet another tabs vs. spaces argument. But this is just another example of how tabs can be pretty neat when they’re interpreted in a specific way. But it’s up to your editor, plugin, etc. to do so. Take the same text and throw it into an editor that doesn’t use this same interpretation, and it immediately falls apart.

OP literally said they’re gonna stop using it, “now that they’ve been made aware of their stance.” Wtf more do you want? You want people to be omniscient? To know something before they know it? I don’t understand how you’re holding someone accountable for a lack of knowledge. That’s asinine.

Grim Dawn is so good. If you have any interest, just go for it. I don’t even play many games like that, and I’ve put tonsss of hours into it now. Super underrated soundtrack too, imo.
6·2 years agoI’m a software dev. Given, the shit I work on right now is all internal. But I question the hell out of stupid decisions like this. I’m sure things get questioned on these public-facing apps all the time. But at the end of the day, the business gets what the business wants. Inevitably, we don’t have the final say on it, even if/when we push back. And we definitely do.
We should be holding the execs and business leaders that are making these stupid decisions accountable.
