I’ve been using it on linux as well, though I’ve been using godot script. I’m not the biggest fan of godot script, but again it gets the job done and has IMO very little bullshit.

While a good choice, I don’t feel warm and fuzzy about the prospect of being turned into some horror creature goop because I happened to walk down the wrong alley.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve touched it, but godot is always going to have my favor. It works very well, doesn’t have any bullshit.
I just need more motivation to finish my existing project, and keep the desire for a new one at bay.

I’m really fucking tired of living on this planet.

The inverse of this should also be true. Just because my game occasionally takes a minute to get set up as I try one or two different versions of proton doesn’t mean I want to be told to switch to windows so I can get my data mined further.

Yeah, I saw that around. It looks really fucking cool, but it still relies on a proprietary print head IIRC.
I don’t want to be perfectionist, it is a good step in the right direction, so I do still appreciate the project. I especially appreciate that it uses paper rolls instead.

There is not a day that goes by that I don’t wish open source 2d printers where technically easy to make.

If it’s a mom and pop store, then the right thing to do is notify them.
If it’s a corporation, fuck their soulless bullshit.

Good thing it doesn’t need to be $20, the corporate middleman leeches just need cut out of the equation.

Agreed. It’s time my occasional minecraft/PZomboid server got a nextcloud upgrade.
Not if you’re doing things the boring way.

I get around this by having the memory of a goldfish for metagaming knowledge.

I am offended that scratch isn’t on here

Very cool, and definitely worth switching too where it makes sense.
But there is no mention of cost, so it probably won’t be cost competitive with regular wind for a while, which sucks.
But the silver lining is that this is among the first of this type of power generation, and it will only get better and more efficient as the tech is built upon.

The lead on my team is very much a LGTM reviewer. The project has been going on for 6-7 years.
Oops, but yes that’s what I meant.

The team lead has spend the last two months writing a permissions library that nobody understands how to use or debug. He wrote it with Cthulhu at his side. Soon not even Cthulhu will understand it.
