There is a shipping route opening up that would enable Asian-Europen-American trade via a about 2/3 shorter route than currently possible. It would make any route through the Suez canals or around Africa pointless. This might not sound important right now, but it would fundamentally change the fortunes of countries and reshape the world.

Well, one of two things will happen now.
The US economy will recede by roughly 30% over the coming years (classified by economists as “catastrophic collapse”)

If it is determined without a doubt that he’s an Agent, the government he spied for will be contacted to see if there are any deals to be made. If not, he will simply be prosecuted and jailed for later use. The fact that he is prosecuted and why will be made public, but the actual prosecution not for national security reasons.
Alright this is knee-jerk speculation, but the only reason I can think of for the FBI collecting evidence like this (the moving boxes) and the university not saying anything, is because it was determined Prof. Wang is a Chinese agent. It’s very unlikely ICE would come after professors, could do it silently, and someone in an area of expertise that is highly sought-after would be deported at all. And they wouldn’t include the FBI either.
…and that would matter if he was dependent on votes by an electorate. He is not.
I guess if the people of Greenland accept a measly 10k soon to be worthless USD in exchange to join a dying empire, they deserve to be part of that empire. Maybe Trump is actually smart and this is a hidden IQ test.
