Unless I’m misunderstanding something, the linked Wired article is about a person designing and making very primitive new chips from scratch, not recycling and modding existing CPUs.
While it is very impressive and surely a great way to learn, its not cost effective at all for what results.
Are you asking if a hobbyist can open up an old cpu and add parts to it to make it faster?

This one time I was in Berlin with my girlfriend and the guy is taking a long time looking at the xray of my bag. Finally, he asks me, “do you have a flashlight in your bag?” and I told him no. He looked puzzled and he asks me “what is the device in your bag that is shaped like a flashlight?” and I told him I really had no idea but I was sure I don’t have a flashlight in my bag. Then he tells me he needs to search the bag. Of course I agree.
He opens the bag, chuckles, and closes it back up and says “its ok have a nice flight!” and I’m so confused. Right then my gf comes from the line and grabs my hand and drags me to the gate.
We get a little bit away and she starts laughing her ass off “it’s my vibrator!” because of course she stuck it in my bag without telling me but no he did not confiscate it.
Well you may or not believe this.
I was 18 and I went to a coffeeshop for the first time in my life. I see a friend of my and he has these two girls with him, Lucy and Amanda. We all talk and smoke and me and Lucy end up spending the night together.
2 days later I haven’t heard from her. I got to the coffeeshop and I get pretty high. At some point I see Lucy and Amanda walk in. I wave and they some sit with me but its weird. Amanda is totally vibing me and Lucy is being kind of distant. The music is loud and I’m really high and I can’t really tell.
Then I see Lucy and Amanda come in the front door wearing different clothes. I was so confused and high as they walked over. I had forgot they were already sitting next to me! Then they joined us and hugged themselves and each others other.
Then the new Lucy jumped right into my lap and the first Amanda looks at her like WTF?
So of course the first Lucy and Amanda were not Lucy and Amanda but their twins Lacy and Amelia! Yes two sets of identical twins! I would love to tell you it got crazy from there …but it was just normal dating for me and Lucy for a few months.
Unlikely. Was going to get one to replace my old pc but I gave up waiting back in April when a local pc shop had a sale. I’m glad I bought then because the prices have just keep going up since.

Yes they come in different lengths (and strengths) and I wanted a taller one because I’m tall.
Not exactly but sort of. What I have done is buy a moderately priced desk chair and then upgrade the cylinder and the wheels to much nicer ones. Makes a world of different.

Most distros include a tool to convert or install packages from other formats. I’d look into that. I’ve never used Arch so unfortunately I can’t be more specific.
I’ve never used that printer or Cachy OS. That being said, I don’t think installing HP printer software will help with an Epson printer.
Epson do have printer drivers for linux and you can look up your specific printer download here https://download-center.epson.com/search/
Pay a bunch of simps to make posts all over about how they tried switching to linux and/or GIMP but it was too hard and broke all the time, claiming that open source is “just a hobby.”

I just got a TV. I went to my local thrift store and paid 25 euro for a very nice 32" LG FLATRON “Full HD Monitor TV” all I know is it has HDMI and ports for every kind of game console and retro computer too. It has no smart anything. Not even a way to hook it up to a network.
