Games@lemmy.world•What's a recent game you've tried playing that isn't worth the hype?English
2·6 days agoHa, indeed I never even got into hollow knight and didn’t even find it appealing. Big metroidvania player otherwise. Love dead cells.
Anyhow, I really like(d) expedition 33, played through on easy. Due to the qte stuff which I wish could be turned off entirely. It’s also a question of accessibility imo.
Technically it’s not really great and should perform way better on ps5 or pc.
But whatever, it was generally a good game.

11·8 days agoIndeed, the cars were always shit but still people thought having one was cool, I never got that (first hand experiences!). And still the stock went up.
Only when he fully openly went Nazi, it painfully slowly changed.
The answer is: yes!
Because Software as a service is such a lovely thing (not for the user). Every day a new experience!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are you confident you could win an argument about?
1·11 days agoI don’t care how it looks and it would take time etc sure, but I am convinced. I could go on ranting about arrogant views of neurotypicals always assuming the wildest stuff but I simply don’t care.
Just rest assured this is not an edgy teenager statement.
(I’m used to being called arrogant. That comes with the specialist field I am in and also due to the double empathy issue)

Asking is natural and usually makes you know more about the world, it’s what science is built on.

74·12 days agoDefine winning.
I could win why there is no god but many people can not accept this since it would literally destroy them with this belief, hence reject it as self protection. That’s just how humans work.
Bringing me back to the question. What even is ‘winning an argument’?
(If you feel the urge to downvote: go ahead but ask yourself - do you feel threatened?)

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK: you can stop Microsoft users from sending 'reactions' to your email by adding a "x-ms-reactions: disallow" header
111·12 days agoComing from a neurodivergent: fuck Microsoft for doing this. It does not go along well with how email should work, makes it confusing for several reasons and shits over a lot of expectations.

Illegaly ingesting. I hate it that private people are fined when they look wrong at a minor hash of a snippet of data but when a corporation does it in full and monetizes it, it’s fine!
