5·12 days agoNot an issue for me with my old machines that can’t run Windows 11. Bit of a security risk, obviously, but it doesn’t aggravate me every time I use it.

I remember when this would have been funny.
Not sure if you can still buy one, but it’ll easily cost more than $10K US. And while they’re definitely cute, they make terrible pets. That article doesn’t mention it, but they also have a rather intense odor. Your house will never be the same.
How else will the OS know I’m serious ?

31·2 months agoThe Da Vinci Code. It was laughably awful. This includes the premise as well as the writing. Dan Brown is probably sleeping on top of a pile of money with many beautiful ladies, though.
You get the behavior your incentives encourage, whether you realize what those behaviors are or not.

I haven’t heard anyone say Google is the best in a very long time. But people keep using it because they either don’t know or don’t like change. Deals to make it the default in many browsers certainly help keep it going.
It used to be found in a lot of cheap canned dog food, but now most dogs eat better than I did as a kid.
That wasn’t a problem where I live, it was totally overcast that day. Though I’m sure it would have had the sun been visible.
