Well, TBF: after Trump has made the entire world hate Americans, revealed how weak we are with his failing attempt to distract from the Epstein files via a war on Iran, and killed enough immigrants to encourage some of their loved ones to seek revenge… Well, yeah, we’re gonna need to watch our asses.

And here I thought the concept of turning Manhattan into a giant prison (see Escape from New York) was absurd. Give Trump credit for managing to turn the entire country into one.

App that claims to do this recently appeared on F-Droid, but I know virtually nothing about it. The description makes it seem a bit unserious, tho.

When I’m in the mood for psytrance, I usually just tune in to one of the streaming Internet radio stations for a fix. There are many ways to do this, but I’m digging the new android app Deutsia Radio (no idea about the name), which is on F-Droid. I just did a search, and 42 results came up - although I know there are some duplicates, there’s enough there for a decent variety.

In Europe, maybe. I fully expect the remaining three carriers in the USA (Dish doesn’t count, sorry) to start “locking down” their networks again just like they used to, preventing “unauthorized” devices from connecting. It’s why they’re pushing for eSIM-only devices, so you can’t move your SIM around without their okay (and likely a fee).

Tim Cook’s not smugly arrogant & knows how to smooth things over, grease the right wheels, etc. Sundar Pichai… not so much.

And how does Google’s forthcoming lockdown play into all that?
