Yeah, OP’s post is misleading. Back then, they announced that they will make that change in how votes are displayed.
So they literally did the opposite of what OP is claiming, they started showing real numbers. Those numbers don’t seem unrealistic at all to me. Reddit is one of the most popular websites, and the nature of the frontpage will just mean that posts that reach the top will have huge amount of votes.

I don’t know why are we still talking about reddit here. I’m pretty sure everyone who is here, already hates it.

It’s not. The oldest one I found on TinEye is before AI (2014) . It just got so jpeg’d over time that the line in the rock looks like a finger.

Most mobile apps can, and on desktop I found these 2 methods that I mentioned in the comments here. Maybe you find it useful.

I can find it on Droidify no problem and after reading your comment, I also tried on F-droid app and I can see it there as well. Maybe you don’t have it configured properly.

The app (locally, on your device) checks if someone from your contact list installed (became available) on Signal, and if they did, you get notified by the app.

And it shares your phone number with everyone in your contacts who has Signal installed.

Someone can get notified only if they already have you in their contact list (so they already have your phone number), and have Signal installed.

I still wish you could choose if you want others to be notified tho…

I have it set so that the dark mode turns on after sunset, but I prefer the dark mode, it just looks better. Light mode has a better visibility (readability) when its brigh outside. I don’t have to crank the brightness all the way up to be able to read the text clearly with the light mode.

I can somehow understand “following” celebrities lives. People like drama, it’s not that much different than watching a shitty tv show or reality show. What I will never ever ever understand is people literally worshipping, giving money, defending and praising celebrities. It’s straight up stupid behavior.

I was looking for a bookmark app that can sync via Syncthing too, but I had no luck finding such an app.

I think I will end up using markdown editor (notes app), specifically Markor, because it allows appending links to a file (note) through the share menu. It’s using .md files which you can easily sync via Syncthing, and then open the file on desktop with some markdown editor like Joplin.
On desktop you would have to manually copy and paste the link into the file though.

It’s probably possible to streamline that process more, but if you don’t save a lot of links it’s ok, I guess.

Yeah, and I am questioning, why is that the case. Because client apps are not doing the transcoding, server is.

It’s a really nice app, I like the fact that it uses mpv, but you cannot pick the stream quality in this app? I always avoid re-encoding (picking different stream quality from jellyfin) but I noticed that it’s missing in Findroid.

Honestly, you can just use the habit tracking app.

Loop Habits Tracker is a good one.
You just create a measurable habit and use 1-10 scale for your mood tracking.

• It does have the option for notes but no tags unfortunately.
• You can add entries retrospectively.
• It has nice data visualization and you can export data.
• Since it’s a habit tracker it’s pretty private. You can name your mood tracker (habit) however you want, nobody can even tell it’s a mood tracker.

I really hope there aren’t people stupid enough to buy or even want that.
