I love this question! This made me really happy. My favorite has always been (and remains) the brontosaurus. (Probably can blame “The Land Before Time” for its influence.)

I remember in the early/mid-90s being corrected that brontosaurus wasn’t a dinosaur species, but was actually the same as apatosaurus. Being a stubborn child, I refused to accept this and always considered the brontosaurus, not the apatosaurus, my favorite. I felt so vindicated when the study came out in 2015 that brontosaurus and apatosaurus weren’t the same.

Perhaps that’s why I still stubbornly refuse to let go of Pluto: the minute hope that my favorite planet will be recognized again someday. Alas.

To be honest, I’m a little surprised they still have enough meat shields that they haven’t started doing this yet, but I suppose they must be tricking enough folks from India and the African continent into going to Russia for “work.”

Back in the day (haven’t tried it in over a decade), pizza hut made really good deep dish pineapple pizzas. The crust was crunchy and just shy of being too greasy and I loved it. But I also love pineapple, so.

If we’re talking absolute favorite, then I’m a Chicago deep dish kinda person. White or pesto sauce, cheese, artichokes, onions, tomatoes, grilled chicken, spinach, bacon, maybe some more meat or veg. Gimme that and a fork and knife and I’ll be very happy.

If I had the time/money to get myself to DC when he’s there, I’d deck myself out in all my Magen David jewelry and a big fat “fuck you, Bibi” sign.

It’s not exactly a “little treat,” and it has a different mouth feel to making cold brew with cocoa.

This is a weird one, but hear me out. Undiluted cold brew coffee mixed with chocolate meal replacement powder and milk. The powder and milk make it really foamy when mixed and it tastes so good; it would probably also be amazing blended with ice.

I don’t tend to eat until later in the day so this has the added benefit of making me feel less guilty for forgetting to eat.

Also, frozen pudding cups are yummy.

The NYT has been shown to be biased against Palestinians, so this, unfortunately, doesn’t surprise me anymore. I used to trust the NYT as one of the more trustworthy sources, but am reluctant to give them any traffic anymore. It feels like, at least in the US, the right-wing crazies have won because “mainstream media” (all media, frankly) really is starting to feel untrustworthy.

I strongly dislike nearly everything about this timeline.
