For me it was just better support, on my flow z13 bazzite kept freezing the screen, I guess its a reported issue with the display manager. Cachyos doesn’t have that issue probably because its much more up to date so fixes have been applied and they take a while to get to fedora then bazzite

Its funny because I think the sequel is what made it so easy for me to switch to Linux.
I had written call of duty off a long time ago. I enjoyed cod 2,3, and 4 but got burnt out.
people kept telling me this one was different, and it was, I had a ton of fun, I got real sweaty with team death match and the campaign was pretty good, I wish it had a competitive mode.
then warzone came out and all the flashy skins and what not. Then black ops came out and I remembered why I got burnt out of that franchise.
No for me the audio would keep going like nothing happened. It was just the display that was stuck. Like I could alt tab or switch desktop and the audio would follow correctly and when the screen got unstuck it would be where it should
Im having a similar issue on cachyos, but my screen freeze is recoverable by removing the HDMI to external monitor and waiting a bit, then the built in screen will come on and I can plug the HDMI back to continue. I haven’t been able to narrow it down I just write down the time it happens and look at the journalctl but can’t make sense of it

Yeah I guess if someone wanted to set a sort of parental control you’d just make them a user with limited control which we have already ways to do

It should be something like date of birth and at what age are they no longer considered a minor, then its hashed and the system will only say if they are to be considered a minor or not but not give any information on the actual dates set or anything. Or like a specific number of years to countdown from instead of a date

I think everyone should pick their battles, but I’m also happy that there are enough people picking this one. I also don’t think this is the hill to die on and don’t think the anger should be solely focused on the Linux Dev community but should be more focused on the people implementing this law in the first place.

I thought it was an optional field, like the name field
Oh thats interesting, i wonder what causes it, the thinking of doing it or actually doing it
Like 15% of people can rumble their ears and make a sound only they can hear
Yeah I started using librewolf recently and its been on my to do list to self host the sync part, seems easier than a bookmark manager.
That’ll just leave password manager and email not self hosted but I don’t think I want to for those two
