could it be the new generation of terry, or did he go overboard with the drugs?
Imo Thunder has the best design out of every app I tested, but the development is slow. Iirc some moderation actions are still not available.
I then switched to Summit after the dev open sourced it a few years ago. The dev is very active and friendly.

it stated that the creation of regulatory barriers would be harmful in a context of rapid technological advancement.
“RaPiD tEcHnOlOgIcAl AdVaNcEmEnT”, we all know what that is.

Lawnchair
Though it is a bit buggy for me.

it’s called a shortcut
Sunshine and a few others were talking about building a federated Linkedin alternative on Matrix, I don’t know what happened to it now.

Indeed it does. However my intention was to say that Pub in ActivityPub is most likely not an adjective (public), but a verb (publish).

Very easy to use app. I’ve been contributing to OSM more because of it.
Then try accessing lemmy with a browser on desktop.
Check your network logs when loading images from feddit.org. It might be that feddit.org is blocking your requests for some reason as LW does not seem to be using the image proxy feature of Lemmy.
Depends on which feddit you are talking about.
If you mean feddit.de, that has been long gone.

Try to learn how federation works if you don’t know it already. Otherwise you’ll be wondering why some problems occur, why some things are the way they are and why users and comms have a @example.com in their names.
Here is a good simple starter guide by fedecan:

If you want a more featureful alternative, check out Piefed: https://join.piefed.social/
No need to worry, as it is also a part of the Fediverse. You can interact with anyone you can in Lemmy in Piefed as well.
If you want to help by interacting with smaller comms, try the “Scaled” sort. It gives a boost to smaller comms in your feed.
Some more info about Lemmy here: https://join-lemmy.org/docs

Lawnchair is pretty good.

This looks like the thumbnail of one of those linux videos
Doesn’t allow third party email clients.
I can recommend Posteo.
Might become reality if it keeps going like this.
