I’m severely depressed and unmotivated as well. I watch a lot of TV. When I get sick of that, I make 3D wooden puzzles, like these dinosaurs. They take about 30-60 minutes each, and when you’re done, you’ve got a dinosaur! Rawr!

Does tidal have the feature Spotify does where you can transfer what’s playing from one device to another? I use that somewhat frequently.

The same way paper journalism is: ads. But not animated, video, in your face ads. Static images are good enough for print, they should be good enough for online journalism as well.

I think every coder should be forced to use their own software for one month out of every year they work on it (and be able to do the job that goes with it because how the fuck else are they going to get a clue?).

At my company, all developers spend time every year in customer support. It gives us first hand experience with what our customers are running into and asking for. We also work directly with field consultants on their projects. It’s not exactly this, but it’s pretty close, and it works really well.

There are other version control systems out there, and have been for decades. So yes, I would consider git to be modern.
