That’s the thing with peace and the duty to fight for it - it’s not convenient nor comfortable. We get to enjoy it because others previously fought for it, even though they could have just given up. And so we might have to do the same for the ones after us, in addition to maintaining it. And that’s ok with me.

If anything it’s cause for national insecurity, given that if they invade, per NATO rules, an attack on one is an attack on all.
