At the point when the empire split in two the capital had already been moved to Constantinople, so if anything it’s the Western Empire that was the pretender (though that is also a stupid take, both empires were clearly roman, unlike the much later HRE).

One of the NPCs in your main camp will complain if you stay in the camp for a while.

This one annoyed me, to be honest. He’s like “Arthur, Arthur, you need to go out and earn some money for the camp!”, but when you look at the logbook most of the NPCs are bringing in about a dollar fifty per day in pocket watches and so on, whereas I’ve paid in over a thousand bucks in the past week and have singlehandedly bankrolled every single improvement to the camp since the game’s start. Ungrateful sons of bitches…

I have a toggleable ‘Show bots’ option in Settings>Account Preferences. I’m using Boost for Lemmy, but maybe other clients have a similar option?

They aren’t talking about it being made to by other movies, they’re saying the movie continues to make money for a long time after it’s first week. To give a famous example: in the 90s the Kevin Costner movie Waterworld was declared to be a massive financial flop based on its first week(s) performance in US cinemas, but once you account for worldwide figures and VHS sales it was actually one of the most profitable movies of the decade.

Really? Things have clearly changed in the 25 years since my last school trip then. We didn’t go to bars with our teachers, but we had plenty of free time in the evenings, some of which was definitely spent in bars.

A bunch of very rich people really wanted Brexit, that’s why what was touted as a ‘non-binding’ referendum (“just to see what the people want”) was treated as very much binding once the Leave campaign won it (by a couple of percent).

Sure, the birds/ants/etc aren’t going to kill the zombies, but without any tendons the zombies aren’t going to pose much of a threat.

I dunno, I’m pretty sure you’d only have to hold out for the few days it would take for the birds/ants/etc to eat through the major tendons on all the zombies, rendering them immobile, and then you’d be completely safe and the massive clean-up project could begin.
