That is not what I said or meant, and it lacks nuance in an unnecessarily insulting way that I find offensive.

My main account got banned from something like 8 because one admin person went nuts. I went through my log and was like, WTF, I never even commented there.

I got two temporary bans from people that had no credible logic skills or objective thinking. One of those was a Lemmy dev. And that is why I’m on piefed now.

There are some crazies, but I think we all need to normalize just being nice digital neighbors. Life is too short and negative. If you don’t like something, just ignore it. Don’t engage or escalate or down vote. None of us are that important, and being negative makes things worse for all, including, if not especially yourself.

The next era of major technologies is entirely biological. It is the key to sustainability. The USA forfeited that future for dogmatism and corruption in the medical field. All of the sciences require 5 sigma results except for medical. It is 3 sigma garbage. Things called breakthroughs in medical are insignificant irrelevant noise in physics, chemistry, and astronomy. One day biology will be fully understood and an engineering corpus. That is the day when true interstellar travel becomes possible. If we get to a complete understanding of biology before the next major planetary cataclysm, we will own the galaxy in 100k years.
