I don’t think there is a car where the seat belt is tied to anything besides a little notification beep. Seems like a different situation if the “safety” feature dictates how the car is used.

It’s probably because your comment shows a lack of understanding of the region. A demilitarized Israel is a destroyed Israel. They’ve been attacked by every surrounding state multiple times. Hamas, Lebanon/Hezbollah, and Iran have been consistently firing rockets into Israel for years.
The reason why these conflicts are so complicated is that both sides have done so many horrible things that no one is on the “right” side of history. It’s like trying to argue who was the good guy in all the wars of Medival Europe.
If you played and liked any game like dead cells or rouge legacy, then Hades should be worth it.
Its basically an action rpg rougelite with a lot of unlock ables, story directly tied to the die/repeat cycle, and lots of interesting challenges.
If you like rougelikes then you’ll get your money out of it. Honestly it’s worth more than that, but it does go on sale occasionally and they’ve already released (in early access) a sequel Hades 2.
It’s been a really sad console generation. It could be because I got a steam deck, but only Nintendo seems to be putting out 1st party games that are any good (and even then it’s been hit or miss).
Do you still use WASM? I’ve been exploring the space and wasn’t sure what the best tools are for developing in that space.
Thanks for the answer. Sounds like they’re still well within the 72 weeks if I understand that correctly?
As for everyone down voting me, I’m not sure what the issue is. I didn’t say people shouldn’t get sick leave, but that society should be responsible rather than an individual corporation (that also doesn’t mean corporations shouldn’t pay into social services).
A reason for that is that if enough people are on payroll and not working it could end a business. The end result would be business attempting to avoid hiring anyone who could end up on long term sick leave.
It mentions these are people who have been on sick leave for over 9 months. I don’t know how sick leave works in Germany, but isn’t there a point where the leave has effectively turned permanent and the slack should be picked up by social services rather than a private business?
Also “win + - > or <-” to move a tile to left or right side.
Definitely sounds like it could be real. If I had to guess their mounting a drive (or another partition) and it’s defaulting to read only. When restarting it resets the original permissions as they only updated the file permissions, but not the mount configuration.
Also reads like some of my frustrations when first getting into Linux (and the issues I occasionally run into still).
Anyone have a high level breakdown of what this update contains?
This is just the estimates to train the model, so it’s not accounting for the cost to develop the system for training, collecting the data, etc. This is just pure processing cost, which is staggeringly large numbers.
To be fair casting for both Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One and Johnny Depps as Tonto were both criticized when the movies were released. Probably not to the level Halle Baileys casting was, or by the same people, but both were definitely seen as whitewashing.
Its also likely The Ancient Ones casting got as much attention as it did due to the political nature of the change (seen as to appease China over its history regarding Tibet).
LLMs do suck at math, if you look into it, the o1 models actually escape the LLM output and write a python function to calculate the output, I’ve been able to break their math functions by asking for functions that use math not in the standard Python library.
I know someone also wrote a wolfram integration to help solve LLMs math problems.
Not sure if you’re serious, but they were making a joke because Intel, who makes chips, is a competitor to TMSC the chip manufacturer from the article.
So they played on that relationship by treating the word Intel in your “thanks for the Intel” comment as meaning the company.
Just read up more about the systems and always thought they charged you more, didn’t realize that for the time being they are zero interest loans.
Seems unsustainable, but sounds like they’re using the credit card technique of charing the storefront. It’ll be interesting to see where the bnpl industry goes.
Has Israel/Mossad ever actually called for the eradication of all Muslims? I know Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, Lebanon, Egypt, etc. have all called for and actively tried to eradicate Israel (and many of them have/do call for the eradication Jews in general), but I’m not aware of Israel doing the same.
Why be the bad guy when you can just enable them.
All the evolution in AI right now is just trying different model designs and/or data. It’s not one model that is being continuous refined or modified. Each iteration is just a new set of static weights/numbers that defines it’s calculations.
If the models were changing/updating through experience maybe what you’re writing would make sense, but that’s not the state of AI/ML development.
Fair point then about the arguement around safety. For me the bigger issue is control. Cars with kill switches and conditions to use is a slippery slope. Just look at what’s happened with software and media. Don’t want to have to pirate my car or load custom firmware so I can use it as I want.
