Hmm so disturbing I watched it in pieces, AND I learned to love it? Tough requirements! I’m thinking it’s gotta be the sort of stuff that gets banned. But no, I’ve never experienced any movie like that. So disturbing I had to rewatch several times yes. But I didn’t love it, no. Enjoying it would also be a stretch lol. Just watching for the novelty really.

No one knows the cute little lady at work listens to extreme metal on her headphones lol. I pause my black metal and say the sweetest things to my patients.

I also know a lot of anime. Not the new stuff, but the tried and true stuff. I don’t watch it anymore, but yeah. No one would know because I don’t talk about it.

I don’t like reading a lot of the defeatist, angry, antisocial type comments on here, but I feel like if I start blocking that stuff (like a lot of the political comms, but it’s also everywhere…), it’s going to feel too quiet😭

Went to a Japanese restaurant and they were playing Japanese TV news on the Pearl Harbor comment. The staff and even the owner came out to watch. I just cringed… America is too embarrassing.

Not with the intent to strike up a conversation, but rather to be helpful. Like I might take the initiative to help offer directions or translation, etc. Or I might notice someone hmming and hawing and say, “Get the steak. The quality here is excellent😉.” But it’s not like I’m expecting a conversation lol. Honestly I can do friendly conversations, but I find them a bit like work😅

It’s an old style name, short for Clifford or Clifton. Sounds direct and manly, not common today amongst young people. However, Cliff sounds cool! It is “classic,” like someone else said. It would be memorable to others for sure. :)

I experience the soap taste, not with cilantro but with certain beers. There’s a local brewery I go to that makes a certain beer that tastes like soap for me, like the smell(?) / aftertaste of a wax candle. It happens every time. And when I order a different beer, it’s gone. It’s not the glass. Drives me crazy not knowing what the heck it is lol. A genetic quirk I guess. Always a light colored beer, never dark. My partner thinks it’s some of the yeast notes.
