No. Its like rubber. If you put your hands on the lid and move it, yoour fingers bounce a lot. Then unplug the chager and sudenttly they dont
I do not know enoug about you to figure this out, so im going to ask: are you sure this isnt a bias thing? Are you sure the bs projects fail becaise they were bs and not becaise you threw them in the corner and never gave them a chance?
notarobot@lemm.eeto Games@lemmy.world•6* months away now. If you're on 10, do you plan to upgrade? Make the jump to Linux?English4·7 days agoIll bet right before the deadline, they will magically make TPM optional, even though they said they wouldn’t.
notarobot@lemm.eeto Linux@programming.dev•Asahi Lina: For personal reasons, I no longer feel safe working on Linux GPU drivers or the Linux graphics ecosystem. I've paused work on Apple GPU drivers indefinitely.111·25 days agoWell. What were the options? Stopping without saying anything? Lying? I think this is better. Sure I’ll speculate. Bit I’ll keep it for myself
notarobot@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•Asahi Lina Pausing Work On Apple GPU Linux Driver DevelopmentEspañol181·26 days agoAFAIK, lina is a trans woman, so you might want to rephrase the alter ego part. Also, I do not understand the part that they “quit already”. Do you mean that this dude started working on Apple GPU drivers then quit and then line picked it up? Why would that be a bad thing?
Maybe. Why do you self host it? I’m not saying there are no benefits. I just think it’s not worth it
Since I started using a password manager, I’ve basically forgoten every one of my other passwords. I wouldn’t be able to log in to my drive
Correct me if I’m wrong: if something happens to your vaultwarden instance, aren’t you at risk of losing everything? I do use bitwarden, but I could never self host it. Too important. ID rather use keepass with syncthing so that more than one of my devices have my passwords
notarobot@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•Do you encrypt your drives and why or why not?Español2·3 months agoYes. I have sensitive info in my PC (work credentials) and in the case of a break-in, last thing I want is to jeopardize my job.
When the time comes, I’ll teleport inside a black hole where I will be frozen in time , thus rendering me essentially dead
Immortal, invulnerable, teleportation
Now I can do whatever I want without having to worry about consequences.
I picked teleportation because I’d hate for example if somehow someone launched me into a sun or black hole and there was nothing I could do forever.
Being immortal an invulnerable I assume I’d be able to get rich very easily.
I also assume the following:
- immortal mean that you don’t die of old age or sickness
- invulnerable still ages (counter with immortal)
- divine is not godlike but jesuslike. Can perform miracles or even come back to life but has limited power. Not immortal, not invulnerable
I guess its a matter of opinion. To me it’s parody. In fact, I find this joke more fun BECAUSE I know the original.
