3·2 days agoIt’s a dilemma. MS might be breaking shit but they’re still the biggest player. It was mostly thru the fact people can open docx that people are willing to try LibreOffice in the first place.
Hopefully now that they have large players behind them, they can start shifting the terrain.

1·3 days agoI use Debian as one of my daily drivers. I wouldn’t recommend the vanilla version to beginners, but I’d recommend LMDE.

5·7 days agoIf someone spend more effort advertising their product than they are developing it, then I would question their product.
However, a lot of people here seems to have negative sentiment against all forms of marketing. Hopefully I’m misinterpretting it.
