If you’re fully a woman and you’re straight you actually might want some dick. It’s not like it’s a choice
You could cut the chassis open and use thermal glue to attach a heatsink+fan combo directly to the main CPU on the chassis. Wouldn’t look pretty but would probably bring temps to a more manageable point
I was under the impression that DDG is pretty private and while underlying search is Bing, bing can’t track the searches to individuals
“Boarding starts 4 hours before the flight because we have to load so many damned passengers and luggage”
Unfortunately the damage has been on the animals. https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-pcrm-neuralink-monkey-deaths/
Funny that the very long vox article doesn’t mention the wired investigation
No sources or studies listed. While I’d love to believe it, this graphic is completely untrustworthy by itself. This does not belong on dataisbeautiful.
Thank you! I guess I should have mentioned I’m on mobile. But it was pretty easy to add manually once I read the directions
I’d love to try using it more. How do you add it to Firefox?
4 seconds? Usually launch windows are in hours and days right? Unless you have barely any fuel margin and you’re trying to hit a very very specific orbit I can’t imagine 4 seconds being a huge issue. But I’m no orbital dynamicist
Hey man, NASA, a government agency has done a ton of cool stuff recently. Rovers and a helicopter on Mars, JWST, asteroid sample return, fostering the commercialization of flights to the ISS have dramatically reduced the cost of getting our astronauts to orbit. We do space exploration pretty darn well.
I love travelling and do it now, but would love to do longer stays in places when I’m retired. A few months in Bali, a few months in Thailand, just explore and enjoy. I also want to learn how to fly, I’m hoping to take some lessons and get started but it’s expensive and time consuming. Maybe when I’m retired I’ll have enough saved up
You signed the agreement, now we get EVERYTHING! I recently enabled duckduckgo’s app tracking protection and it has been eye opening. In the past 7 days it’s blocked 4200+ tracking attempts.
I set it up a while ago but if you search for guides I’m 100% sure you’ll find them. I think jellyfin has their own guides. It gets a bit more complicated when you want to access it from outside your network. I use ddns (dynamic DNS) because my ISP doesn’t give static addresses to residential customers. This allows me to have a hostname of xxxx.ddns.net. then I had to set up port forwarding on my router so that the jellyfin traffic is allowed through to my desktop that that is running jellyfin and has all my media. Internally on your LAN you’ll need to have a static IP for your desktop too.
Jellyfin is so good. I’m travelling internationally right now and it makes me smile that I can stream stuff from my home at any time. I’m gonna miss Netflix DVD because I would get Blu-rays and rip them to my media library
Man I recently met a beautiful Tanzanian woman who had an amazingly beautiful accent when she spoke English. It sounded regal and dignified. I had a huge crush. Kenyan accents are great too. I think we focus too much on western accents
I feel ya. Space exploration in general is my jam, why aren’t people as excited as me about how there’s theoretically more water on some of Jupiter’s moons than there is on earth??
Or if I took money from their families to pay for moon missions
That’s not how large democracies work, my friend. It’s not some dictatorship they can instantly move money around to solve problems with. In fact India spends WAYYYYYY more on welfare than it does on ISRO. It’s something like 2 billion USD to 250 billion USD. In fact the problem isn’t just money its how its distributed, corruption, etc. If the Indian government decided to defund ISRO and put that money to welfare, it would be a tiny drop in a massive bucket. Defunding ISRO would also have major ramifications on their aerospace industry, many thousands would be out of jobs, those with higher educations would leave the country to find opportunities. Have you looked at how India is doing with abject poverty in the past 20 years? The graphs are all trending down. Is it perfect? absolutely not. Every country could do something better, India has a lot of things it needs to work on. In my opinion, building up its own indigienous space industry is a net positive for India and is not taking money away from poor people.
What I’m getting at is it’s so easy to criticize a nation for their faults without looking at the complex socioeconomic and political issues at hand.
The modern Internet is pretty terrible. I use ublock origin and no script to make it bearable. But it does add a lot of tedium when I go to a new site and everything is broken and the site’s functionality relies on multiple 3rd party scripts.
Try to find a job. Like any job. I’ll clean or do manual labor, no shame in that. I’d also try and look for government programs for re-education so I can learn whatever skills are in demand and the moment.
