Sure, but they wouldnt exist without that. Making micro batches of specialized hardware is not profitable at all. Offering a real warranty would immediately bankrupt them. If they sold more than a few thousand devices per model then i would care, but meanwhile big manufacturers get away with so much worse.

Basically all their products are essentially dev kits. They are not meant for normal consumers. At least thwts how it has been for the phone, laptop, watch, etc.

Careful with wiping anything with the “boot” flag. That can backfire very badly depending on how your system is set up. Those are small anyways so i would just leave them and only kill the ntfs partitions and combine that space into an extra partition that you can store stuff in.

Resizing partitions is messy so if you want a clean setup with one big home partition i would just reinstall. You could also copy everything in the home partition to a backup drive and just try out resizing. If it breaks you can create a new home partition and copy everything back.

I often see farms that use this type already in my area. Its such an obvious and simple add on, because lots of plants actually prefer having less direct sun, especially when its super hot.

Why is this still a topic? Having a physical disk doesnt give you any more ownership over the games. The ability to play the game is still tied to a license that they can revoke at any time. Once activated the copy is tied to your account or am i misremembering this? You dont lose anything from this except for a useless plastic box.
