Closing your laptop now types the letter E instead of locking
Hey, that should be T unless you open it back immediately.
18M I like computers, trains, space, radio-related everything and a bunch of other tech related stuff. User of GNU+Linux.
I am also dumb and worthless.
My laptop is HP 255 G7 running Manjaro and Linux Mint.
I own RTL-SDRv3 and RSP1 clone.

There’s also collabora office which is based on LibreOffice.
https://www.collaboraoffice.com/collabora-office-android-ios/
It’s released under MPLv2.
Wayback machine very often. I also like to watch The Computer Chronicles which is on IA. I can also get old installation ISOs from there.
No hardware acceleration. Anyway, AV1 hardware encoding is a new thing anyway.
I know, I used to use an SSD with a different laptop. But it doesn’t bother me enough, especially since I reboot it like once a month.
I am a cheapskate
I am too lazy to replace it (one of those modern hard to open laptops)
I am too lazy to test and clone a 1TB (or more) drive
I actually used an SSD before with an old laptop, but that only required removing 2 screws. As for cleaning out dust, I don’t use it much anyway, mainly because I don’t want to deal with cracking this open.
I am just looking at getting some used ThinkPad.
But anyway, most stuff can be done on a smartphone. On the other hand, I already killed 1 motherboard likely due to overheating while re-encoding videos to AV1 in Termux. It was replaced under warranty both times though. The second time it was just some issue with communicating with cameras. Yeah, I am on this phone’s 3rd motherboard.
But anyway, it’s a laptop. I reboot it like once a month when updating, so it’s not a big deal.
I think Cinnamon does that too.
I still use HDD.
KBin can natively interact with both.
Base32 is easy to write down. So there’s that for binary data.
Some equally sized gift card to any shop I use.

This is probably normal. Kick it like a soccer ball, slam it into ground, throw out through train window while moving,…
Yes, but at much higher cost.
OK, but seriously, X, Y and Z are these:
Reboot
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow
The only answers you’ll get.
Because for me Windows was not easier to use.
I only got my first proper computer in 2020, and comparing Windows 10 with Linux Mint 20, I found the latter much simpler to use not having used either one prior. Just having to bounce between Control Panel and new Settings, plus a lot of tutorials shown magic with registries…
Also, I had a lot of problems with uninstallers failing or not removing programs completely, and getting permissions to remove files directly was also pain in the ass, even as “Administrator”. That often resulted in me booting up live Linux DVD to remove crap programs from Windows.
I gave it a try, but I didn’t like it. Perhaps I’d like MacOS though. It seems similar enough. But Windows just feels like 2 decades of hotfixes glued together.
Clearly it’s from Holy Wood.
I am trying to figure out if this is AI.
