Yep, don’t care, I’m up voting anyway. This game is well done. I loved Gunpoint, I loved Heat Signature, and I’ve been really enjoying this one. Writing, gameplay, graphics… I’m a fan, for sure. The whole Defenestration Trilogy is worth it.
To be fair, it was a video game aimed at children to teach them how to be good soldiers during a time when the US was entering a deeply unpopular war under false pretenses.
Around the same time there were all sorts of lawsuits surrounding video games and their effects on children, so maybe it was a double whammy.
Regardless of any claims for or against violent video games, the Army shouldn’t be recruiting like that.
Wasn’t it a guy responding to a vehicle accident and he credited America’s Army for teaching him about triaging patients? I think it stuck in my mind for the egregious click-baity headline.
Are you serious? I just told you.
Thank you. Now, insofar as it concerns apostrophes (he said pedantically), couldn’t it be argued that the tools we have at our immediate disposal for making ourselves understood through text are simply inadequate to express the depth of a thought? And wouldn’t it therefore be more appropriate to condemn the lack of tools rather than the person using them creatively, despite their simplicity? At what point do we cast off the blinders and leave the guardrails behind? Or shall we always bow our heads to the wicked chroniclers who have made unwitting fools of us all; and for what? Evolving our language? Our birthright?
No, I say! We have surged free of the feeble chains of the Oxfords and Websters of the world, and no guardrail can contain us! Let go your clutching minds of the anchors of tradition and spread your wings! Fly, I say! Fly and conformn’t!

I relinquish the pedant stick.
Great review, random person on the internet!
And every death is feeding, every missed callout is feeding, not playing support is feeding… No TP? Believe it or not, feeding.
Not only that, but there are so many variations and ways to modify your equipment that it takes a while to really figure out. Every time I go back out of curiosity it ends up being the same colors and numbers game, so I get frustrated and quit.
The Spider-Man games come close, but that first Arkham game was just so well done
Oh boy! Can’t wait to experience the ramifications of this one!
What’s next? Gonna try to recreate Deep Impact, just to see?
“Not me, officer, I’m… Borodymyr Kraszynski.” I’m imagining a huge fake mustache.
Dude, seeing the 3 other horsemen come down at the end of the first game had me so fucking hyped
Do you mean like, “in the situation of?” For example, “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
Otherwise I’d say that since they’re both prepositions–dealing with the relationship between two or more things in space or time–it sounds like somebody was just a little confused about how to explain it.
Where people use them interchangeably you’re likely to find non-native English speakers.
I find your choice… Acceptable.
Arrow pressers unite. Down arrow forever
And he has a twin with a nearly identical pedigree, it’s insane. But I’d love to see a Harris/Kelly ticket.
I think that’s only possible with laminated wood, and apparently it’s made thick and dense enough that fire affects it more slowly than normal. From my understanding it’s a safe building material.
