If you begin #StarTrek: Voyager episode Spirit Folk at exactly 11:49:35 on New Year's Eve, Ensign Harry Kim will kiss a cow as the clock strikes midnight. It's an annual tradition, so join in the fun and start 2024 off on the right hoof.
Yeah, it’s definitely a bad episode, but it’s really just a pretty bog standard “new technology goes haywire” Trek episode. It was a good episode for RDM acting-wise, and the makeup effects for Paris’ deterioration were pretty great.
Why don’t I remember this episode?
Well, are you wearing 18th century garb and using a weak Irish accent? Cause I may have some bad news for you.
It is not good.*
*in my personal, but I think pretty uncontroversial, opinion.
I love that episode!
… But… Yeah. It’s not good. It’s kinda great. But not good.
I used to hate the fairhave episodes but they grew on me, not good but campy
I started remembering bits after reading the synopsis. It’s whimsical, Leland.
Normal Voyager not good or Threshold not good?
What?? Uh…somewhere in between.
